Deruta school of ceramics

Theory : The Classroom can accommodate up to 30 persons.  It is possible to learn the history of the Art of Ceramics, the development and evolution of the various technical processes, leading to all of the techniques for the production of ceramics. 

Theory II :  the Earth, Enamels, Colors, Oxides, Ovens and Equipment, Experimental Techniques, Luster of the 1500s, and Developments in the Various Decorative Styles.  Lessons are accompanied by practical examples, films, slides, photographs as well as by hands-on study of available archeological pieces, part of the precious patrimony available to the School

The Ceramic Business : Learn  how ceramic manufacturing businesses in Italy are run.  This course includes visits to actual ceramic manufacturing companies in Deruta like MOD and others.
